Thanks to the variety of brands available today, the mobile market is a buyer's paradise. With a plethora of models, consumers are spoilt for choice, especially when it comes to the highly competitive sub-10K market. It's no surprise that in an extremely price-sensitive market like India, this is a hotly contested segment. Let's take a look at two hot-picks in this slice of the market.
The X1 Notch from Vietnamese smartphone brand Mobiistar comes in at just under Rs. 10,000/- but chock-full of features, some of which are not even available in some of the higher-priced flagships. With a 5.67 inch 19.9 HD + IPS 2.5 D, full view display and glass finish battery cover, the phone is a beautiful testament to the company's endeavour to 'democratise technology'.
Like all things Mobiistar, the phone is not just empty aesthetics. It comes packed with features like a 13MP camera with AI scene detection, 3GB RAM, facial unlock and a whopping 3020 mAh battery. Of course, the camera comes with an LED flash and 7-level face beautifier, a feature which can't be ignored in this age of selfie-filled Instagram accounts.
A heavyweight of a phone, the X1 Notch is truly a must-have on the higher end of the under-10K range.
Coming in at just under Rs. 6,000 the C1 Shine is a more affordable offering from the house of Mobiistar. A sleek, bar-style phone, it still packs a punch when it comes to features, despite its deceptively low price.
Sporting a trendy 18:9 Full View Display, it comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory. Where the C1 Shine really lives up to its name and shines though, is in the camera department. The rear camera is a 13MP one while the selfie camera is 8MP. Mobiistar really went all out on the camera, equipping it with auto-focus, flash, and of course, the all-important face beautifier.
So while the sub-10K market is still very crowded, these two clearly manage to stand out from the rest simply from the sheer amount of features packed into them. Combine that with the attractive price points for both of them, and you have two phones that are simply too good to ignore.
